Fabian Schar scored a brace in the 1st half – in the 32nd and the 36th minutes, to shock the home team and give a 2-goal lead to Newcastle after the 1st 45 minutes of the match. The only negative thing in the 1st half for the Magpies was when Miguel Almiron replaced Alexander Isak in the 43rd minute as the Swedish forward suffered an injury and couldn’t continue.
