North Macedonia stopped Italy again as they became the Italian's black cat.

North Macedonia and Italy finished without a winner – 1-1 in Skopje in the debut of Luciano Spalletti at the helm of Italy.

The 1st half-finished without goals, as surprisingly or not, the home team had better chances to score as both nations had 4 goal attempts each and 1 shot on goal during the 1st 45 minutes.

The 2nd half started in the best way possible for Italy as Lazio’s striker, Ciro Immobile, headed the ball into the net after a rebound. Everything went smoothly till the 81st minute when North Macedonia tied the match.
