Jake Oettinger’s stellar goaltending performance, making 32 saves, coupled with Ty Dellandrea’s go-ahead goal, propelled the Dallas Stars to a 4-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4 of their Western Conference first-round series in Las Vegas.
In addition to Dellandrea’s crucial goal, Roope Hintz, Wyatt Johnston, and Evgenii Dadonov also found the back of the net for the top-seeded Dallas team. This victory not only leveled the best-of-seven series but also marked the Stars’ second consecutive road win. With the series tied, Game 5 is set to take place in Dallas on Wednesday night.
Stars coach Peter DeBoer commended Oettinger’s performance, stating, “When he gets in that zone, he’s a really tough guy to beat. We’re going to need that. He has to be one of our best players, and I feel like he’s in that zone now.”
For the Golden Knights, Jack Eichel and Michael Amadio contributed goals, while goaltender Logan Thompson made 28 saves in a losing effort.
