Nottingham hired the ex-Wolverhampton and Spurs boss after parting ways with Steve after a bad period of 5 losses in 6 matches, as the side is only 1 place ahead of the relegation zone in the standings.
“Nuno joins the Forest on a 2-and-a-half-year deal and will take charge of his 1st game on Saturday when our side play against Bournemouth at The City Ground,” Nottingham shared on social media.
“The new manager will take charge of his 1st training session with the squad today as they are getting ready for the upcoming match in the EPL.”
Espírito Santo led the Wolves for 4 years and secured the team’s promotion to the Premier League in his debut campaign with Wolverhampton in 2018. Then, he led Tottenham briefly before being replaced by Antonio Conte.
