Conor McDavid secured the victory with his second goal of the night in overtime with 1:31 remaining, which takes his goal tally to 60 out of 72 appearances, making him the fastest player to reach that number since Mario Lemiex in 1995-96 season, who needed just 62 games to reach 60 goals. McDavid also extended his home points streak to 16 games.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins also scored twice, while Leon Draisaitl provided the assists for all of Oilers goals, who are now on a 5 game winning streak and also achieved their 9th vcitory out their last 11 matches. Goaltender Stuart Skinner made 14 saves.
Clayton Keller scored twice for the Arizona team, while J.J. Moser added another for the Coyotes, who succcumbed to their second consecutive loss after a four-game winning streak. Goaltender Ingram made 27 saves.
