Palmer‘s goal secures Chelsea’s 1-0 win vs. Fulham

Chelsea defeated Fulham 1-0 at Stamford Bridge to win the London derby as Cole Palmer was the only player to score, and he did by penalty.

Palmer converted the penalty in the 45+4 minute in the 1^st half as hit strike low into the right of the net left no chance for Bernd Leno to save it.

At the additional time of the 2^nd half, Fulham had a few opportunities after crosses, but they couldn’t find somebody to convert inside the penalty area.

The victory for the Blues is very important after the huge disappointment a few days ago against Middlesbrough in the 1^st leg of their League Cup ½ final as the Championship side beat them 1-0.

That was Chelsea’s 4th consecutive victory at Stamford Bridge and the Blue’s 4th win in their last 5 matches in the Premier League. The team is now in 8^th place in the league with 31 points after 21 games.
