Matthew Tkachuk was the star of the show as his two goals, the second of which scored just 4.9 seconds before the end, gave Florida the edge and ensured them a sweeping 4-0 victory in the series.

Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was the other man, whose heroics secured the win for the Panthers. He made 36 saves and once again denied Carolina, who were beaten for forth consecutive time by just a single goal.

Ryan Lomberg and Anthony Duclair scored the other two goals for the Panthers, who secured a sweeping victory for the first time in their history.

Paul Stastny and Teuvo Teravainen scored the first two goals for Carolina, before Jesper Fast bagged the third with only 3:22 left in regulation. It looked certain the game was heading into an overtime, which would have been the third in the series, but Tkachuk strike crushed the Hurricanes dreams.

Florida await either Vegas or Dallas in the final, scheduled for next week. Golden State is currently leading the Western Conference final 3-0.
