Paul amazed by the trade to Washington

Chris Paul was shocked to find out that Phoenix Suns sent him to the Washington Wizards, as he shared in an interview.

He also hinted that Isiah Thomas, the ex-Detroit Pistons legend who is among new Phoenix owner Mat Ishbia’s close acquaintances, had a role in his trade.

“It’s just — it’s not feeling good,” Chris told the NY Times. “I know this is just part of the business, and what you know is that nobody cares for you truly. No matter what you give and how good you’re on the court, you realize that nobody owes you anything in the NBA, as that’s how it must be.
