The linebacker suffered the unfortunate injury in the 1st quarter on what appeared to be a noncontact problem.
“Kwon Alexander suffered an awful lower-body injury,” manager Mike Tomlin admitted after the match. “He’s being evaluated, but the situation looks awful.”
Kwon had suffered from the same injury as he sustained on Christmas Day 2020 when he was part of the New Orleans Saints. Alexander inked with Pittsburgh during training camp and has been a crucial part of the roster. In the Steelers’ 20-16 victory against the Titans, the linebacker had the game-sealing pick vs. rookie QB Will Levis in the end zone.
In the current campaign, he has 41 combined tackles and 5 tackles for loss, along with 1 forced fumble and the pick.
