Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke before the media after the draw with Bournemouth and addressed the Blues fans, saying that he cannot change the reality that Chelsea have too many injured players.
“In the first 20-25 minutes, I think we deserved to score, but we didn’t.” It was open in the last 15-20 minutes, we wanted to win. I’m disappointed with the result, I think we deserved more,” said Pochettino.
“We spoke with Thiago Silva to be more calm because sometimes the defender wants to help the team. Too many players are still learning about the game and this is building a new team and we need to improve. In this type of game, when you push, if you can’t win, you can’t lose.

“One of the things I’m disappointed about is that we tried to do a lot and created more chances than the opponent,” he added.
“I think the fans know there are expectations after a lot of money has been invested in this project. What I can tell the fans is that I cannot change reality. We have 12 injured today, three out of four are young guys, two goalkeepers on the bench. I have to accept that. This is the circumstance and we have to accept it,” said Pochettino.
