The forward missed the 1st 4 months of the campaign after sustaining a knee problem during the offseason, and he played only 4 matches after his return before suffering another problem in training, which didn’t allow him to appear on the pitch in Chelsea’s last 2 games.
However, Christopher’s latest injury is a minor 1, which would allow him to play again soon, but the attacker has yet to return to training, and his manager shared he doesn’t know the fitness of his Frenchman player.
“Of course, I worry about the situation of Nkunku,” Pochettino claimed. “I believe it’s now [been] 10 days since he didn’t train. We are assessing him. We don’t know what the results will be. I’m a little bit worried about Nkunku’s latest problem.”
