The Euro 2016 champions beat Liechtenstein 2-0 away

Portugal kept their perfect record in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, beating Liechtenstein 2-0 away for ninth win in nine games of Group J.

The 2016 champions secured their spot at the Euros next summer, but keep on winning in an attempt to finish their qualifying cycle without dropping a single point.

In Vaduz, Portugal opened the scoring right after the break when Diogo Jota passed to Cristiano Ronaldo on the edge of the box and he fired a perfect shot into the top right corner.


In the 57 minute Cancelo scored from mid-range to make the win safe. Eight minutes before the end Goncalo Ramos also scored and VAR reviewed the goal for offside and it turned out the PSG forward really is behind the last defender.
