Follow usPSG lifted the UEFA Super Cup after finishing 2-2 against Tottenham in regular time, but defeated them in a shootout as the French team scored twice in the last 10 minutes of the game to force penalties and then triumphed in them.
Tottenham were the better team on the pitch in the 1st half as the team is in the final phase of their preparation ahead of the new season, while PSG are just getting started, and that showed in the 1st 45 minutes.
The 2025 #SuperCup will be decided from the penalty spot!

Spurs took the lead in the 39th minute when Micky van de Ven scored, and the north London side ended the half with an advantage.
At the beginning of the 2nd half, Spurs made it 2-0 as Cristian Romero scored in the 48th minute, as the French team’s goalkeeper could have saved his shot.
However, PSG didn’t give up and started to play better as the French team scored in the 85th minute, as Kang-In Lee made his team’s deficit only a single goal.
Another player who entered the pitch from the bench, Goncalo Ramos, scored in the extra time to make the result 2-2 as Ousmane Dembele provided him a fantastic assist.
In the shootout, PSG didn’t score once, while Tottenham missed twice and lost.
