PSG could be serious trouble if the transfer of Marco Verratti to the Qatar’s Al Arabi is proven as fraud. In the last week the French champion sold Julian Draxler to Al-Ahli for €9 million, while Al-Arabi bought Abdou Diallo for €15 million and Marco Verratti for €45 million.
These transfers have triggered “red lights” at UEFA and an investigation is underway to establish whether the wealthy Sheikh Nasser Al-Khalaifi, one of the most powerful men in the country, did not in fact sell the players to himself – that is, influence the owners of Al-Ahli and Al-Arabi to spend a total of 69 million euros, which will significantly improve PSG’s financial fair play status.
UEFA to look into PSG’s sales of Verratti (€45m), Draxler (€20m) et Diallo (€15m) to Qatari clubs. FFP experts could re-evaluate fees downwards if they feel relationships too close between seller & buyers

If these suspicions are proven, UEFA will refuse to include this money in PSG’s FFP calculation, and the Parisian club will very likely be threatened with a transfer ban for at least two transfer windows.
