Kyle was 1 of the best QBs available in the NCAA transfer portal, leaving Ohio State with an 11-1 record as a starter this campaign and 12-1 over his 3-season career with the program. McCord finished this campaign with 24 TD passes and 6 picks, completing over 65% of his passes.
He is immediately eligible and will have 1 year of eligibility remaining. His inking is a coup for Syracuse, giving the Orange a linchpin for the new head coach to build his squad around the new quarterback in his debut campaign.
Kyle has deep ties to his new school as he lived in New Jersey and has known both Brown and QBs coach Nunzio Campanile for years.
