The two Spanish giants could gain big if the project goes through

Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to gain 1 billion euro loyalty bonus should the European Super League project goes through, reports say.

The two clubs were one of the few, who have withstood their position since the project was cancelled in April 2021 and now they could get a huge reward.

Both clubs have welcomed the European Court of Justice’s ruling that UEFA and FIFA had acted in contravention of EU competition law in sanctioning the rebel European Super League clubs.

On the other hand, those clubs out of the total 12, which withdrew from the project face sanction by the governing bodies.

Within hours of the European Court’s verdict the project was revealed with 64 teams set to take part of the League, which will be divided into 3 categories. Star, gold and blue with the star being the strongest and blue the weakest.
