Rickie Fowler continued his amazing performance from the 1st round, where he had a historic 8-under 62 with a 2-under 68 in the 2nd round and is one-stroke ahead of Wyndham Clark before the beginning of the weekend at the U.S. Open.

Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele were each two swings back in the 3rd.
Fowler finished the 2nd round with 8 birdies, 4 pars, and 6 bogeys.
“It’s not that effortless at the Los Angeles Country Club,” the golfer shares. “Yes, I swing many birdies, which is viable out there. It’s still everything is very hard. You hit fairways and hit greens; yes, you can go high at the scoreboard, but when you get out of position, everything that you worked for so hard can vanish.”
