Rybakina beats Ostapenko 2-0 sets and reaches the Rome final

Elena Rybakina, world number 6, won in straight sets against Jelena Ostapenko, world number 20, and will have the chance to lift the title in the Italian capital.

The tennis player from Kazakhstan broke her opponent’s serve twice and lost the 1^st set 6-2. Ostapenko broke Rybakina’s serve in the 2^nd set, but Elena again converted 2 break points and won 6-4 the second set and the match. In her previous game, Elena eliminated world number 1 Iga Swiatek after the Polish player retired because of an injury in the 3^rd set.
