Elena Rybakina expressed his frustration over match scheduling at the Canadian Open, by stating that she felt ‘destroyed’.
The Kazakhstani aimed a dig at the WTA, accusing it of weak leadership an lack of adequacy.
Elena Rybakina calls out WTA leadership for poor scheduling in Kasatkina marathon:
“It’s the 1st time & hopefully the last. I think it’s a bit unprofessional.. Most important is WTA here. Leadership is a bit weak for now. Hopefully something changes.. I fell asleep at 5 a.m.” pic.twitter.com/CpUdkJ86kz

Rybakina was infuriated by her 1/4 final match, which did not finish until 3:00 AM local time, which affected her 1/2 final display against Liudmila Samsonova, to whom she eventually lost.
“I’m not really happy about it, but it is what it is,” said Rybakina.
“I feel destroyed because of the scheduling and the whole situation.
“Unfortunately, players can’t do much in these situations. The decision isn’t really ours. The weather wasn’t helpful. So I picked up some injuries, but we tried to manage it and see how we’ll go from that.”
The 24-year-old pointed the finger more on the WTA rather than tournament organizers.
Iga Swiatek has also expressed annoyance with the WTA earlier this year at the Madrid Open in May.
