Domantas Sabonis inked a 5-season, 217-million-dollar contract to stay at Sacramento Kings. The new money in the deal is 195 million dollars – his agents confirmed to the media.

Both parties agreed on the extension late on Saturday.
Sacramento is using salary cap space to raise additional 8.6 million dollars for the upcoming campaign, totaling up to almost 31 million dollars. – and a new 4-year extension that will secure Domantas almost 200 million dollars during his new deal.
Sabonis could’ve signed an even better contract for more money, but the player told the Kings that he didn’t want it, so the franchise has the resources to add new players and make the team more competitive and chase the championship.
