Carlos has inked a multi-year Williams contract, meaning the Spaniard will drive alongside Alex Albon next season.
Revealing the deal, Williams claimed Carlos would represent them “for ’25, ’26 and beyond”, with the contract featuring 2 guaranteed years and another option campaign after that.
American pilot Logan Sargeant will vacant the place for the Spaniard at the end of the current campaign and it is uncertain Logan will continue in Formula One after this year.
Sainz’s future has been unclear since the Italian team revealed the inking of Mercedes pilot Lewis Hamilton for the next campaign.
“It is a pleasure to share that I will be joining Williams Racing from next year,” Sainz claimed. “It is no secret that in the current season, the driver market has been exceptionally complex for a number of reasons and that it has taken me some time to reveal my future.”
