Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith, who has 12.7 million dollars in his deal that is set to become fully guaranteed tomorrow, was informed today that he will keep his place in the team.
Gino’s deal calls for his almost 13 million dollar base salary for the upcoming campaign to become fully guaranteed tomorrow as he remains in Seattle until the deadline for his contract. That money was guaranteed for injury only at the time the quarterback inked his 3-year, 75 million dollar contract last offseason.

Gino is eligible to receive his money no matter if he will play for the Seahawks next season, as the franchise could still trade him until March 18th.
The QB also secured an almost 10 million dollar roster bonus due next month. Smith’s 22.5 million dollars that he will earn in 2024 ranks 18th among QBs. Gino’s 31.2 million dollar cap charge for the next campaign ranks 12th among QBs.
