Jannik Sinner, world number 4, won against world number 10, Holger Rune, 2-1 sets and will finish at the 1st place in Group A after 3 victories from 3 matches.
World number 1 – Novak Djokovic is the happiest man after Sinner’s victory because that means that the Serbian will finish 2nd in the group and will also advance to the ½ finals of the ATP Finals.

The Italian dominated in the 1st set and won the 1st 4 games in the match. Sinner closed it 6-2 games for only 33 minutes.
However, his Danish opponent played a lot better in the 2nd set and stole it in the last possible moment as he broke Jannik’s serve when the Italian was serving to tie the games 6-6 and force a tiebreak.
Everything was decided after a 3rd set. We must acknowledge that Sinner suffered some problems in the final minutes of the 2nd set and wasn’t at 100%, but he still gave his best despite already being qualified for the final 4 of the tournament. The game went close, and when Rune was serving to tie 5-5 games, Sinner converted the only break in the set, which was enough for the Italian to triumph 6-4 in the 3rd set and, respectfully, the match.
Jannik Sinner beats Holger Rune 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 in a dramatic match, wins the Green Group and qualifies Novak Djokovic to the semifinals!
