Gareth Southgate has revealed that he thinks Luke Shaw has “a good chance” of making England’s final Euro 2024 roster despite the Manchester United player not being on the pitch since February.

The defender’s last game for the Red Devils or his nation came February 18th when he sustained a muscular injury in the 2nd half of Erik ten Hag’s side 2-1 victory at Luton Town.
Gareth shared in May’s press confence that Shaw would probably will be on the plane to Germany as the English manager has until the end of the week to narrow down an initial 33-man squad to a maximum of 26.
However, the Manchester United defender reported early for his country after the end of the campaign as he wanted to prove himself, and Gareth revealed today that he was optimistic about Luke’s chances of being part of his selection for Euro 2024.
