Jayson Tatum notched 36 points, including 10 in the OT after Jaylen Brown’s tying 3-pointer with almost 6 seconds remaining in the regular time, and the Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers 133-128 at TD Garden in Boston, MA, in Game 1 of the East Conference finals.
Jrue Holiday finished with a campaign-high 28 points, and Jaylen had 26 points.

Tyrese Haliburton finished with 25 points and 10 assists for Indiana, who scored 13 times from the 3-point line and notched 56 points in the paint vs. Boston roster still competing without centre Kristaps Porzingis.
Pascal Siakam scored 24 points and grabbed 12 boards. Myles Turner had 23 points and 10 boards for the 6th-seed Indiana, who 2 times turned it over with a 3-point lead in the final 30 seconds of the regular time.
Jaylen punished them for the 2nd turnover, scoring a 3 from the corner with Pascal right in his face to even at 117.

The Pacers went back ahead 123-121 when Tyrese scored all 3 free throws after being fouled with less than 2 minutes on the clock. However, Tatum then completed a 3-point play to put the Celtics ahead for good.
