Man United head coach Erik ten Hag has shared he’s built an “intense relationship” with the team’s new technical director Jason Wilcox as they gear up to strengthen the roster for the next campaign.
Jason, who previously worked as director of football at the Saints, replaced Darren Fletcher after joining the Red Devils in April. His hiring is among the big changes that have been made at Manchester under new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, with ex-Man City executive Omar Berrarda set to take up the CEO role after the end of the season and Dan Ashworth poised to join as sporting director after completing his gardening leave from the Magpies.
With the Red Devils looking to add new players after the disappointing campaign, Ten Hag revealed he is focused on working alongside Wilcox as he wants to rebuild the squad.
Erik told the media that he talks daily with the new director and that they have already built a relationship.
