Both footballers have been linked with transfers away from the team in January, but Manchester United’s head coach wants the players to remain at Old Trafford at least until the end of the campaign.
The Brazilian midfielder has missed the last 2 months with a hamstring problem, while the French defender has only recently returned to the starting 11 after being put on the bench before that.
With the Red Devils no longer in the European tournaments and only EPL and FA Cup left to compete for, the Dutch manager is keen to reduce the size of his squad next month when the transfer window opens, and Donny van de Beek already inked a loan move to the Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
