The Longhorns triumphed with its 1st conference title in 13 years.

Texas bowed out of the Big 12 period the same way that they began part of it in 1996: with a conference trophy.

Longhorns put an end to a 13-year conference trophy drought — the longest in the school history – with a 49-21 victory against Oklahoma State as the big hero was Quinn Ewers.

The QB completed his 1st 12 passes to lead his program to the title and to his personal record for most yards (452) in the match for the trophy and tying the mark for TD passes (4).

In the 1st half, Quinn threw for the most yards (346) by any player in a half in any conference championship clash in the last 20 seasons. He left the match in the final quarter, making way for Maalik Murphy — and later, Arch Manning.
