Jalen Williams and Josh Giddey each notched 21 for OKC, who triumphed in Game 1 with 2 points more than their opponent before defeating Pelicans by 32 in the 2nd match and by 21 today.
Top-seeded Thunder scored 17 of 36 from the 3-point line and had over 10 points lead at the 2nd half, going up by as many as 24 in the 4th quarter.
The 8th-seeded New Orleans, who is playing without its superstar Zion Williamson during the matchup due to a hamstring problem of the forward, will try to avoid sweep at Smoothie King Center at the beginning of the week. But even if they won Game 4, no franchise in the league has come back from a 3-0 matchup deficit.
