Tiger Woods shared today that his longtime cooperation with Nike has finished after 27 years, 1 of the most popular brand relationships in professional sports history.

Since Tiger became a pro in the summer of 1996, the golfer wore Nike swooshes from head to toe. The cooperation featured 15 major championship trophies, 82 PGA Tour victories, and a lot of comebacks from different problems – both injuries and personal.
“More than 27 years ago, I was fortunate to begin a cooperation with 1 of the most iconic brands in the world,” Tiger shared on social media. “The days since have been filled with so many fantastic memories; if I begin naming them, it will take at least a year.
Phil Knight’s ambition and vision brought this Nike and Nike Golf collaboration together, and I’m grateful to him, along with the Nike workers and phenomenal sports persons I have had the privilege of working with in the past 27 years.”
