After Aaron Rodgers played his worst match as part of the Pittsburgh Steelers, manager Mike Tomlin shared he doesn’t have any “long-term reservations” about the QB’s ability to compete at the position at the highest level.
Aaron threw 1 TD and 2 picks in yesterday’s 25-10 defeat against the LA Chargers and completed below 53% of his attempts, marking his lowest completion % in a match over the past 5 campaigns when he attempted at least 2 passes.
“The match against the Chargers is in the past,” the Steelers head coach revealed. “But I have no doubt that it was just a one bad day in the office for Rodgers and that he can play a lot better.”
The legendary quarterback, who is 41 years old, also took 3 sacks vs. Los Angeles, including 1 in the end zone by Khalil Mack for a safety in the 1st half.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says he won't chalk up Aaron Rodgers's poor performance against the Chargers to an "off night." But Tomlin also says he has no long-term concerns about his quarterback. https://t.co/rVbrP3IEMl
