The midfielder will not serve the suspension if he does not commit additional breaches before the end of the campaign.
The Italian is already serving a 10-month suspension issued in October 2023 for offenses during his time in Serie A.
Sandro was charged by the Football Association 2 months ago and revealed placing between 40 and 50 football bets after his transfer from Milan to Newcastle in the past summer, including 4 on his team’s results.
The English football governing body revealed the sum on the bets by Tonali, who has also been fined 20,000 pounds, would have been “well in excess of 100,000 euros”.
Sandro’s 4 bets on Magpies were all on victory for his club, as he was on the pitch in 3 of the 4 games.
