The match started fantastic for the home side as Richarlison netted in the 9th minute after Brennan Johnson’s assist. Spurs captain Son Heung-Min doubled the lead in the 18th minute as that’s how the 1st half finished.
However, Everton returned in the match after Andre Gomes scored in the 82nd minute to make his team trail only 1 goal. Despite that, Tottenham could keep its lead and win the 3 points at home.
Spurs are in 4th place with 36 points after 18 matches as the club is in a series of 3 victories in a row in the Premier League.
Everton are in 16th place with 16 points as the Toffees’ run of 4 consecutive wins in the league ended in London.
Sean Dyche has now lost all three of his visits to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by an aggregate score of 11-1.
