The North London club agreed with RB Leipzig over a 6-month loan for attacker Timo Werner that would see him making his way back to the Premier League.
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou will be without star attacker Son Heung-Min while he is with South Korea at the Asian Cup. Now, Timo will give the team an opportunity in the attack in the absence of the Spurs’ captain.

Werner inked with Leipzig from Chelsea for almost 25 million dollars during the summer transfer window in 2022, having spent 2 controversial campaigns with the Blues, where Timo netted just 23 goals in 89 matches.
However, the forward, who has appeared in 57 games with the German national team, has been mainly on the bench since the beginning of the campaign as he has only 2 goals in 8 league matches.
