The big Serb was once again at the heart of Denver's victory on Murray's return from injury

The Denver Nuggets came out on top in their clash against the Houston Rockets 134-124 on Wednesday night.

Nikola Jokic once again shone as his triple-double helped the NBA champion edge ahead. The Serb had 32 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds.

Michael Porter Jr. had his best performance of the season with 30 points to secure a third consecutive win for Denver.

Jamal Murray made his return from a hamstring injury and he notched 16 points.

“The hamstring’s fine,” Murray said. “I’ve worked enough to get it back to strength. Now, it’s just another thing. I’ve got to work on that and hopefully I’ll be ready.”

Jalen Green led the way for the Rockets with 26 points, while Alperen Sengun finished off with 22.

“We just woke up pretty late,” Green said. “If we started off a little bit better, it would have been a different story.”
