Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has called out defender Kim Min-Jae for his role in conceding 2 goals to Los Blancos in the 2-2 draw in their UCL ½ final 1st leg yesterday in Germany.
The Korean defender gave away a 2nd half-penalty, which Vini Jr. converted to equalize for Real Madrid, while the German team boss also shared the mistake that Kim made that led to Bayern conceding the 1st goal in the game.
“Kim was too overly ambitious 2 times. He made the 1st move too early vs. Vini in the 1st goal and got caught by Toni Kroos’ pass,” Bayern Munich’s head coach claimed.
“Kim speculated and was too aggressive. In the 2nd goal, he made a mistake again. We were 5 vs. 2, we had the numbers. It was not needed to defend that aggressively vs. Rodrygo.
Tuchel added that the Korean defender would have received help any moment from Eric Dier but that’s when Kim made the penalty that allowed Los Blancos to left Munich unbeaten.
