Thomas had revealed the called-up players in his debut squad.

Aston Villa attacker Marcus Rashford has been picked in Thomas Tuchel’s 1st squad as England head coach.

Marcus appeared for the last time for the national team in a friendly vs. Brazil 12 months ago but has been playing a lot better after his move from Manchester United to Aston Villa at the beginning of the year.

The Magpies defender Dan Burn and the Gunners’ Myles Lewis-Skelly received their 1st called up for the Three Lions.

England begin their qualifying campaign for the World Cup in North America next year with 2 matches at Wembley vs. Albania and Latvia. The first one is next Friday, while the second is a few days later on Monday.

The German manager also included Ajax star Jordan Henderson among the players for the upcoming qualifiers.

Jordan (34) played for the last time for the national team vs. Malta at the end of 2023.

Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford and the Reds defender Jarell Quansah are the other debutants in Tuchel’s 1st squad as the manager of the Three Lions.

Spurs forward Dominic Solanke also found himself in the English squad.
