Mert Muldur scored the 1st goal in the 25th minute as the Fenerbahce defender netted with a 1st-time shot straight into the top right corner from the edge of the box. Only 2 minutes later, Turkey doubled its lead but the goal was ruled for an offside.
After that, the debutant at the big competition Georgia started playing better and Georges Mikautadze scored in the 32nd minute from inside the box to tie the result.
However, the show of beautiful goals continued as Arda Guler smashed it in the 65th minute into the top right corner from the edge of the penalty to give Turkey the lead again.

Georgia had two phenomenal chances to tie the result in the extra time but Turkey survived and even scored into an emphty net.
The other 2 teams in Group F are Portugal and the Czech Republic, as the match between these two nations starts in an hour.
