UEFA banned such instruments in the past, but now that is history.
“Supporters are allowed to bring instruments to the venues, but they will have to register them with their respective national bodies, who will be responsible for centralizing their supporters’ activities inside the stadium,” UEFA shared.
The ban on instruments came after the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa when the vuvuzela was heard in every match, and some fans shared their concerns that this stopped them from enjoying the game to the fullest.
However, in the upcoming championship, instruments are welcomed back again by UEFA, and Scots fans can show what atmosphere they can create with their bagpipes.
