The French defender joined from Los Blancos in the summer of 2021 for an initial fee of about 34 million euros and has played 93 matches.
Varane helped the Red Devils triumph in the Carabao Cup in 2023 when head coach Erik ten Hag’s club defeated Newcastle in the final.
“Everybody at our club thanks Varane for his time at Old Trafford and wishes him the best in the future,” the Premier League club shared.
Raphael won 3 La Liga titles and 4 Champions League trophies in his time with Los Blancos before inking with Man United under then-head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Varane also triumphed in the World Cup with France in 2018 before retiring from international football in the past year.
