Verstappen set the fastest time in third Barcelona practice

Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen set the best time in the last free practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix.

The Dutchman, who leads the general classification so far this season, set a time of 1:13.664, 0.250 seconds ahead of Red Bull team-mate Sergio Perez.

Third was Lewis Hamilton with Mercedes, who left behind local favorites Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin). Hamilton’s teammate – George Russell gave the 6th time, just ahead of the other Ferrari driver – Charles Leclerc.
