Lando Norris also cut the lead to his teammate after finishing 2nd, and now Lando is only 14 points behind the 1st place with 5 races until the end of the season.
The victory of Max means that he has closed the gap to Oscar by 69 points in the last 4 races and is also 26 points behind 2nd-placed Lando.
That was Red Bull’s racer’s 3rd victory in the past 4 races, as he also triumphed at the spring yesterday, while both of the pilots of McLaren were unable to finish.
Max finished almost 8 seconds ahead of Norris as 3rd and 4th were both Ferraris – Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton ahead of the championship leader, who finished 5th in the USA GP.
