The medical team thinks Justin Jefferson’s hamstring problem will sideline the Minnesota Vikings star for 4 to 6 weeks, and the All-Pro receiver will undergo imaging tests in a month to determine when he can be on the field.

Minnesota placed Jefferson on injured reserve last week, which means that the 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year will not play for at least 1 month.
The franchise’s manager, Kevin O’Connell, shared with the media he did not expect his player to be out for the rest of the campaign. Still, the organization must help itself with victories to ensure that they can be part of the postseason and Jefferson could play there.
Minnesota (1-4) plays against Chicago (1-4) on Sunday in a must-win game if the Vikings want to keep their chances to reach the playoffs.
