The Golden State Warriors came out on top in their clash against the Portland Trail Blazers in a convincing fashion 126-106 on Saturday night.
It was their fifth consecutive victory as their run continues with full swing after a sluggish start early on in the season.

Klay Thompson stole the spotlight with solid 28 points, followed up closely by Stephen Curry, who notched 27. It was Thompson’s 5th straight game with 20 or more points.
“I think over the last five games, he’s just taking better shots,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “And as a result, our team is more settled. We just feel like we’re operating more efficiently.”
The win is a huge boost for Golden State as they head into Christmas on a high note for a crunch match-up against defending NBA champions Denver Nuggets.
Anfernee Simons was the highest scorer for Portland with 25 points as they recorded a disappointing 9th loss in the last 10 games.
