The WBC has expelled popular boxer Ryan Garcia from any activity with the organization after he repeatedly used racial comments vs. Black people and disparaged Muslims while being live on social media.

Ryan Garcia has been expelled from the World Boxing Council after his recent online rants involving racial slurs and disparaging remarks about George Floyd.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman revealed about the federation decision: “We disagree with any form of discrimination,” the WBC president shared. “I fear for Garcia well being as he has unanswered multiple attempts for our help with his condition as we are willing to help.”
It wasn’t known what sanctions the federation would take vs. the boxer, who is currently banned for 1-year from the Big Apple Athletic Commission after a positive drug test.
Ryan shared an apology on social media after the news about his being expelled from the WBC: “My only intention was trolling. I want all the killing to stop,” the boxer claimed. “I love everyone sorry if I someone felt offended by my words.”
