West Ham eliminates Arsenal from the EFL Cup

West Ham United won against Arsenal 3-1 at London Stadium in a matchup from the 1/8 final of the EFL Cup, and David Moyes’ side advanced to the next phase of the tournament.

The Hammers had the lead after the 1^st half as Ben White scored an own goal in the 16^th minute.

After West Ham’s 3^rd goal, Mikel Arteta put Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka into the match from the bench, but it was too late for the Gunners to get back in the game. Martin Odegaard netted in the extra time for the final result to be 3-1.
