Endrick is supposed to be the next superstar from Brazil and part of Los Blancos’ new Galacticos, but the forward’s career has hit a stumbling block.
The Brazilian forward had a positive debut campaign at the Royal club, playing 37 matches, despite the fact that in most cases he entered from the bench.
But when Xabi Alonso arrived in the summer, the situation for the 19-year-old striker changed completely. He has played just 14 minutes in a single game this season, coming from the bench late in a 4-0 win vs. Valencia.
And now, for a 4th consecutive international window, Endrik has been left out of Selecao’s roster by his ex-Real Madrid head coach, Carlo Ancelotti.
With his time on the pitch almost non-existent, a place in the Brazilian squad for the World Cup next year seems almost impossible right now.
Rumors are that Endrik wants to revive his career and will try to change his team on loan during the winter, but others suggest that staying in Real Madrid despite being on the bench will have a greater effect in the long term for the young Brazilian, as he will settle into life as part of Los Blancos.
🚨‼️ 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄: Lyon are in ‘pole position’ to sign Endrick but nothing is completely done yet.
Endrick has a lot of suitors from the Premier League, but he insists that he can show himself under Xabi Alonso — although he is more and more likely to leave.
