The German triumphed after trailing by 1 set.

Alexander Zverev, world number 8, won against world number 2, Carlos Alcaraz, 2-1 sets after almost 2 hours and 35 minutes in a clash from Group B at the ATP Final in Turin, Italy.

The 1st set was the most entertaining one as both players converted 1 break each, and the set was decided after a tiebreak. Alcaraz won it 7-3 points and got the lead.

However, after that, Zverev was the better player, and he triumphed in the 2nd set as he needed only 1 break, which was enough for him to end it 6-3.

The same thing happened in the deciding set, as a single break for the German tennis player secured him the victory in the 3rd set and the match.

In Group B are also Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev, who will play later today their 1st match at the tournament.
