The Anaheim Ducks have inked restricted free agent Trevor Zegras to a 3-campaign, 17.25 million dollar deal extension with an average annual value of almost 6 million dollars.

Zegras (22) finished his 3-year, entry-level contract last campaign, as he had a career-high 23 goals and 65 points in 81 matches.
The centre was picked 9th overall by Anaheim in the 2019 NHL Draft, and since then, he has netted 49 goals and earned 139 points in 180 matches.
However, the franchise still have 1 remaining uninked restricted free agent in defenceman Jamie Drysdale.
Drysdale played 8 matches in the past campaign after suffering a shoulder problem.
Jamie had his 1st full campaign in the National Hockey League during the 2021-22 season, finishing with 4 goals and 32 points in 81 matches.
The defenseman was picked 6th overall by Anaheim in the 2020 NHL Draft and has 7 goals and 40 points in 113 matches in the league.
