Athletic Bilbao comeback to beat Betis 4-2

Athletic Bilbao won against Betis 4-2 at Estadio San Mamés after trailing by 2 goals after the first 10 minutes in an entertaining match from the 3^rd round in La Liga.

Willian Jose netted after only 2 minutes since the beginning of the match for Betis as Isco doubled the lead for the away club in the 10^th minute. However, Athletic Bilbao made a comeback until the end of the 1^st half.

Mikel Vesga converted a penalty in the 30^th minute, as the same thing happened 15 minutes later as Vesga scored his 2^nd goal in the match again from a penalty to tie the game. In the 7^th extra minute of the 1^st half, Gorka Guruzeta scored after Inaki Williams’ assist to give the Basque side the 1^st lead in the match.

In the 84^th minute, 20-year-old Unai Gomez scored for Athletic to make it 4-2 and secure the victory for the Basque team after a phenomenal comeback.
